FRAMINGHAM – Beverly A. (McVay) Ablondi, 90, a longtime resident of Framingham died suddenly, April 6, 2021.

Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Raymond & Florence (Perkins) McVay, and the beloved wife of the late Paul P. Ablondi.

Beverly moved often growing up as the family followed her father’s career as a tugboat captain.

She spent much of her youth in Ashland, and was a 1948 graduate of Framingham High School.

After school she worked briefly for Lewis Furniture in Framingham, and soon began her career with Kiddie Fenwal as an accounts payable clerk retiring in 1991.

Beverly was a member of Grace Congregational Church where she was part of the Red Hat Society, and later joined Edwards Church when the two merged. She loved lighthouses, gardening. quilting and trips to Maine, and travel, especially cruises. She loved her cruise to Alaska with her friends from Grace Church.

Beverly’s love was always her family, her daughter, Dianne R. Belloli & her husband Michael of Framingham, her grandchildren, Alex and Raechel Belloli of Framingham, her great grandson Anson Eldridge of Wayland, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her dear husband Paul, Beverly was predeceased by her grandson, Philip Eldridge, and her sister Judith Leblanc.

Family and friends will honor and remember Beverly’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Friday morning, April 16 from 9-11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
