FRAMINGHAM – I have tried on three different occasions to contact the mayor’s office without receiving a call back.
I am very concerned about the parking situation at Cushing Park which is really “the jewel” of Framingham.
I have contacted Park and Rec, who do not operate that parking area and also MassBay Community College, who used to lease it but have said they no longer are.
I was referred to Brookdale at Cushing Park and spoke to the person in charge who informed me that they do own that lot and are not going to allow the public to park there.

There is very limited parking available in front of the chapel and across the street or along the sides.
There is so much congestion of cars trying to park that I feel there is an accident waiting to happen.
I think the city of Framingham should somehow take over the responsibility of allowing cars to park in the parking area where there is plenty of space for all. Brookdale is not being very neighborly and something needs to be done!
