FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State University is reporting double the amount of COVID cases this week from last week.

The University is reporting 4 new COVID cases, as of March 23.

The University administered 916 tests in the past 7 days.

Four out of 916 tests is a 0.44 positivity rate.

The rate was 0.24 last week.

Students returned to classes for the spring semester on January 25.

In the past 30 days, the University has administered 4,108 tests to staff and students, with 11 positive cases in the last 30 days.

The positivity rate for the past month is 0.27%.

In comparison, the City of Framingham’s positivity rate is just just under 3%

The University currently has three students in isolation on campus and one student isolated off campus.

The University has five students in quarantine on campus, and one student off campus in quarantine.
