FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced today, 73 new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday, March 24

Since the pandemic, there have been 237 deaths.

Framingham has had a total of 7,448 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began. Framingham has about 74,000 residents.

That means more 10% of the City has been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the pandemic began a year ago this month.

The good news is 5,743 individuals have recovered.

This month, the City of Framingham began to release vaccination data.

Earlier this month, Gov. Baker announced that the public, age 16 and older, would be eligible for the vaccine starting April 19.

Active cases in the City of Framingham increased 1,429 to 1,468.

Individuals in quarantine increased from 611 to 685.
