FRAMINGHAM – Victor M. Calderon, 69, a longtime resident of Framingham died Sunday morning, March 21, 2021 following a brief illness.

Born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, he is the son of Carmen (Rosario) Sanchez and the late Matias Calderon.

Victor came to Framingham at the age of 15. He was a hard worker, installing insulation and working in construction until his retirement 8 years ago.  

He was a diehard fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Bruins. He enjoyed playing Bingo at family gatherings and had a big heart when it came to helping others.

Victor AKA “Papa” loved his family, his daughter, Melissa (Calderon) Duarte of Framingham, his grandchildren, Kevin and Katiria Aguirre, and Alexa and Elijah Duarte, his siblings, Carmen G. Padilla & her husband Jorge Padilla of Ashland, Sonia Calderon & her husband Frankie Ramos of FL, his brother-in-law James Hickey, his nephews, Jonathan and Jason Padilla, and Michael Hickey, and his nice Kimberly Hickey. Beside his father Matias, Victor was predeceased by his sister, Olga Hickey.

Family and friends will honor and remember Victor’s life with private graveside services.
