FRAMINGHAM – Sister Marcella Campos, CSJ, (Sister Carmen Louise), in her 70th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died.

Devoted daughter of the late Louise Napoleon and Luisa (Valverde) Campos, and beloved sister of the late Emerrenciano, Pelagio, Gilbort, and Orlando Campos, and Leonila Sanchez. Sister Marcella is survived by her loving sister, Delia Flores, her brother, Max Campos, her sister-in-law, Anna Campos, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation. 

Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Columbkille School, Brighton; and St. Ambrose School, Dorchester.  Sister Marcella spent many years in New Mexico where she ministered as a teacher at St. Rose School, Santa Rosa; and Cristo Rey School, Santa Fe; as well as Parish Minister in the parishes of San Ignacio, Santa Rosa; St. Ann Parish, Albuquerque; and St. Anne Parish, Albuquerque; along with serving the Archdiocese of Albuquerque; Director of Religious Education at St. Martin Parish; and Co-Director of the Sisters of St. Joseph Associate Program of New Mexico.

Private Burial.   

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
