MILFORD – Arnold T. Evans age 70 of Milford and formerly of Framingham, died Friday, March 12th, 2021 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Framingham on September 11th, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward and Jeanette (Powell) Evans.

Arnold was a graduate from Framingham South High School, class of 1968.  He played for the Framingham South Flyers football team and was nominated to the all 25 year team as the best lineman.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Costello) Evans. They were happily married for 44 years. Also survived by a son, Daniel Evans and his wife Jaime from San Antonio Texas. Daughter-in-law, Melissa Evans from Sutton. He was predeceased by his son, Matthew Evans and sister, Janice (Evans) Johnson. Arnold was a loving grandfather to Zoe, Aiden, Addyson, and Chase. He will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Arnold had many hobbies that he enjoyed. Wood working, reading, photography, fishing, long distance bike riding, and going to the beach. He was an avid runner for many years. He ran the Boston, Chicago, and Clarence De Mar marathons.

Arnold worked as a logistics analyst for 35 years. Working for major computer companies.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham. 

His funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
