ASHLAND – Staffing issues at Doragon Ramen will mean new cuisine options for MetroWest, via Sunday food pop-ups.
“Because of the difficultly of staffing these days,” Doragon Ramen in Ashland has “decided to remain closed for service on Sundays and do something a little different,” said Chef Alan MacIntosh.
“Chef Alan, Chef Paponake, and Chef Matt have decided to do different Chefs Tasting Menus every Sunday. Each week we will feature a different Chef who will create their menu and to be sold on the upcoming Sunday. Only the Chefs Tasting Menus will be available on Sundays,” announced MacIntosh this week.

The first guest chef is Chef Sentie Kironde Sr.
He will be serving “Afro Caribbean inspired BBQ,” said MacIntosh. “Sentie’s passion for food is highlighted with his use of East African inspired homemade marinades and dry rubs and sauces.”
On the menu will be ribs, wings, cole slaw, fries, fried plantains, and more.
The menu will be available from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. only on March 14. Pickup is at 1 W Union Street in Ashland.
His menu is Afro BBQ fusion along with homemade food that is inspired by recipes from Africa and East Africa.
The normal Doragon Ramen menu will not be available on Sunday, March 15.
