FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be implementing temporary overnight closures of the ramps from Route 9 eastbound and westbound to Interstate 90 westbound (exit 111/old exit 12 ) in Framingham.

The closures will take place tonight, Monday, March 8, and on Tuesday, March 9, during the overnight hours of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The closures are necessary to facilitate routine construction operations.

Traffic looking to access I-90 westbound will be directed to follow the detour signage in place during the closures.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
