NATICK – A GoFundMe has been established to help a Natick family whose teen, 17, was killed in a weekend crash in Canton.

The goal is to raise $70,000.

Giovanni Taboh, a Natick High junior was killed on Saturday night.

“Giovanni was a fun loving kid who interacted closely with his school mates, friends and family. His sense of humor was a feature which was constantly highlighted by his parents. He loved to travel to explore new horizons and he was a budding musician who was constantly creating music with astounding lyrics and beats,” wrote George Taboh in establishing the GoFundMe.

His very short life will always be remembered for the positive energy he  carried around him. His abrupt end comes as a big blow not only to his parents but also the extended family which is a characteristic of our community. It is impossible to imagine life without him but we will continue to carry around the precious memories that he was so gracious to share with us. May his soul rest in perfect peace and may the almighty guide us through this journey,” wrote George Taboh.
