FRAMINGHAM – Reminder from the City of Framingham Health Department: If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or been in close contact with someone positive, please follow quarantine counsel as directed.
This week, many businesses and schools are in the process of reopening. The Framingham Health Department is counseling and following many people in the City who are in quarantine due to a close contact exposure or positive COVID-19 diagnosis.
As a reminder, people must follow this counsel to avoid further transmission.

The Department also asks parents to monitor their children for fevers, coughs, and sudden loss of taste and/or smell. If a child presents any of these symptoms, they should be tested and not return to in-person school until they receive a negative test.
The Health Department is speaking with hundreds of people weekly and providing individualized information for each situation.
The Department is requesting patience, cooperation, and general courtesy from those residents receiving the State’s guidance around quarantining from the City’s contact tracing nursing staff.
