FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Parks & Recreation will hold its annual “EGGciting” event for Easter, but it will look different in 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Although we are unable to meet in-person, this drive-thru-style, COVID-friendly event, will be sure to bring a smile to your face,” said Framingham Parks & Recreation.
Each participant will receive a bag* including: toy-filled eggs, crafts, art supplies, coloring book with crayons, etc. (The bags are not appropriate for children under the age of 3 years)
“As this is a touch-free event, bags will be handed out in a drive-thru style fashion, and placed in the trunk of your vehicle. We ask that you please stay in your vehicle, our staff will do all of the work,” said Framingham Parks & Recreation.
Registration is now open and will close on March 26 at 3 p.m., or while supplies last.
Cost is $5 per child.
When registering, please pay attention to which time slot you register for – there are 3 time slots at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
There are a limited number of bags and there will be a limited amount of slots allowed per hour.
Bag pick-up will be at Bowditch Athletic Field and Cultural Complex (475 Union Ave) on Saturday, April 3. Easter is Sunday, April 4.
