NATICK – June Barbara Day, 87, of Natick, MA passed away peacefully at Beaumont Skilled Nursing on February 25, 2021 after a brave fight with PSP Dementia.

She was born in Waterbury, CT to Roy and Josephine Smith.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard and son Michael (Janet).

She is survived by her son Kenneth of Ashland and grandchildren Brian (Leslie) Day of Missouri City, TX, and Kristina (Jaskson) Spellman of Attleboro. She is also survived by her sister Joyce (Walt) Noble, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

June was raised in Seymour, CT and is a Korean War veteran of the US Air Force.

After marrying she moved to Jamaica Plain, where she raised her family and lived for 60+ years. She spent her entire career working for Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

In retirement she enjoyed walking at Jamaica Pond, visiting Foxwoods, and winters in Florida with the Corner Tavern Crew. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her friends from the Forbes Building.

She was a small woman with a giant personality and a heart of gold.

She will be cremated and due to COVID services will be private.
