FRAMINGHAM – One of the three finalists to be the next Waltham High Principal, was a popular history teacher and coach at Framingham High.

Among the three finalists is a former Framingham High history teacher Darrell Braggs.

For the last four years, Braggs has been the Associate Principal at Waltham High. Before joining Waltham Public Schools, he was a popular history teacher and coach at Framingham High,

Braggs has a bachelor’s degree in history and education from Western New England University, a master’s degree in history from Framingham State University, and a master’s degree in organizational management from Endicott College.

The other two finalists areMichael James and Brenda Peña, who is also an Associate Principal at Waltham High.

The Superintendent is expected to announced the new Principal in mid-March.
