FRAMINGHAM – Helen M. McCarthy, 102, of Weston and formerly of Framingham died on February 19, 2021. Helen grew up in Medford and was in the first group of women who graduated from Bentley College.

Helen is the loving sister of Sister Rita McCarthy of Brighton, William McCarthy of Worthington Ohio, and Maureen Leiser of Weston and was predeceased by her brothers John, Russell, Thomas, Robert, and Donald. She was the cherished aunt of 25 nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.     

Family members will honor and remember Helen’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday morning, February 25 from 11 a.m. to noon.

Her graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.

Helen was a faithful member of St. Julia’s Parish, and a memorial Mass will be celebrated to honor Helen’s life at a later date.
