FRAMINGHAM – Gretchen M. (Vose) Ablondi, 89, of Chestnut Hill, died on February 5, 2021.

Gretchen was born to the late George Aubrey and Grace Gallagher Vose in Bangor, Maine, she was the sister of the late George Thomas Vose and mother of the late Gretchen Marie Ablondi.

She received her baptism, first communion and confirmation at St. John’s Church, Bangor, Maine.

She married Mario Achille Ablondi of Framingham, at St. John’s, was mother to William Joseph and Margot Ann Rutledge and her husband Brett, and grandmother to Luke Mario Rutledge.

At the family’s request, Gretchen’s funeral Mass at St. Tarcisius Church and interment at St. Tarcisius Cemetery alongside her husband Mario and daughter Gretchen will be private.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Tarcisius Church.
