FRAMINGHAM – Veronica “Ronnie” J. Morse, 92, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died on Tuesday February 9, 2021 following a brief illness.

Born in Framingham the daughter of the late Alexander & Mary (Connors) Olszewski, she was the beloved wife of the late David C. Morse.

It has been said that “a good laugh heals a lot of hurts”, and that is how Veronica lived her life. She loved to laugh, and her sense of humor was infectious. Mischievous and kind at heart, she was known to stir the pot on occasion and always did so with laughter.

After graduating Framingham High School, she married David, and together they would raise their family.

As the children grew, Veronica got her driver’s license and went to work in her 40’s, retiring as an administrative assistant from TJX.

A strong woman and a true matriarch, Veronica is survived by her children, Michael of Wilmington, Timothy of Framingham, and Bonnie Morse & her partner Maija Feineis of Clinton, her granddaughter, Melissa Grondine & her husband Michael, her great grandsons, Liam and Tyler Grondine, her siblings, Sophie Ferragamo, John Olszewski, and Jane Piacentini, and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband David, Veronica was predeceased by her children, Theresa and William “Billy” Morse, and her siblings Helen Brissette, Mary Moffitt, and Bernard Olszewski.

Family and friends will honor and remember Veronica’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. on Saturday February 13 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.. Her Funeral Mass and interment will be celebrated privately.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Veronica’s name to: The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
