FRAMINGHAM – For the third time, since November, the Netflix production of Don’t Look Up is filming in the City of Framingham.

And yesterday’s snowfall was not enough for the movie, as the crews created a snowfall for filming today, February 10.

The movie staring Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, is a dark comedy, directed by Adam McKay, set to shoot all over Massachusetts. In it, two astronomers, played by Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio, must convince the world about the dangers of a massive meteorite headed towards Earth.

The star-studded project which also includes Meryl Streep, Ariana Grande, Cate Blanchett and Matthew Perry, was filming in a Butterworth Park neighborhood back in November 2020.

Last week, Lawrence was in North Framingham filming scenes, including ones with a helicopter and gun shots.

This week, the cast & crew are in South Framingham. In District 7 today were DiCaprio, Lawrence, and Timothée Chalamet.

The production has been trying to keep all filming locations quiet due to COVID-19 concerns. Filming is expected to continue through this month.
