BOSTON – The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a winter storm warning for today, February 9.

Another snowstorm is coming today that is expected to bring heavy snow.

Framingham is forecasted for 5 to 7 inches of snow, along with central Massachusetts and the Merrimack Valley.

The warning was issued just before 2 a.m. and will stay in effect through 10 p.m.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact theevening commute.

Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour at times with reduced visibilities are expected to develop by mid-afternoon.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
