BOSTON – The third storm this month, brought about three inches to MetroWest.

Most of the Commonwealth received anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of additional snow today, February 9.

The National Weather Service uses trained spotters, media, ham radio operators, and the public to measure snowfall totals.

Athol recorded the most snow in the Commonwealth with 3.8 inches by a trained spotter at 9 p.m.

In Middlesex County, Hudson recorded the most with 3.7 inches at 8 p.m. by a Ham radio operator.

Framingham was reporting 4 inches of snow at 7:44 p.m.

A trained spotter reported 3 inches of snow in Natick at 5:46 p.m.

Logan Airport also reported 3 inches of snow at 7 p.m.

Worcester Airport recorded 2.9 inches of snow just before 6 p.m.
