FRAMINGHAM – Elizabeth M. Walsh, 55, a longtime Framingham resident, died unexpectedly on February 2, 2021.

Born in Cambridge, she was raised in Newton, and was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy High School in Boston. Elizabeth also attended Assumption College in Worcester.

During her professional life, Elizabeth worked in the mortgage industry in a number of positions.

Elizabeth grew up in Newton. In 2000, Elizabeth and her sister, Jeanne moved to Framingham where they lived with her daughter, Justine and niece, Lauren.  She loved cooking for her family, to travel, listen to music, and had a keen eye for the latest fashion and designs. Above all, her kind heart was, by far, her greatest attribute!

More than anything Elizabeth loved her family.  She is survived by her daughter, Justine A., her husband Christopher, and granddaughters, Emily L and Allison M Powers of Billerica; her mother Ann J. (Poirier) Walsh of Framingham; her sister, Jeanne Walsh of Framingham; her sister, Maura Walsh & her husband Carlos Avila, and nieces, Mariana and Cristina Avila of Framingham and her brother Richard Walsh and his wife Ruth Makofske of Long Island, NY. Elizabeth was predeceased by her father, John F. Walsh, and her niece Lauren Elizabeth Walsh Dubois.

Family and friends will honor and remember her life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, February 10 from 4-7 p.m. Proper social distancing and mask wearing etiquette will be strictly observed. Her Funeral Mass and interment will be celebrated privately.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Elizabeth’s name to First Things First, an organization that provides financial assistance to chemically dependent men and women at ftfirst.org or to the Lauren Walsh DuBois Scholarship Fund via check mailed to Jeanne Walsh 10 Myrna Road Framingham, MA 01701
