FRAMINGHAM – Orlando ” Terry”  Tirimacco, 97, a resident of Framingham for nearly 70 years, died Tuesday Feb. 2, 2021 after a brief illness.

He was the beloved husband of the late Helen L. (Warren) Tirimacco who died in 2007.

Born in Watertown, he was the son of the late Paul and Amalia (Della Posta) Tirimacco. After graduating high school, he was inducted in to the US Army in 1943. Orlando served three years including a deployment to the European Theatre of action and was honorably discharged in 1946.

He worked for 33 years as a technician in a research and development lab improving  magnetron microwave technology until his retirement in 1988.  Following retirement, he enjoyed golfing at both Wayland Country Club and Sandy Burr. 

He is survived by a brother: George Tirimacco and a sister Florence Kinlin both of Framingham and also leaves his nieces: Nancy, Pam, Paula, Laura, Sandra and Christine and nephew Jimmy. He was predeceased by his brothers Ernie and Ray,  niece Joanne and  nephew Danny. 

Due to current health restrictions, all of Terry’s services will be held privately.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, that memorial gifts be made in his name to: Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA. 02452.
