FRAMINGHAM – MetroWest is digging out from more than a foot of snow on Tuesday, February 2.

Now that it has stopped snow, many have heavy wet snow to clean up.

So how much did MetroWest get?

The National Weather Service uses trained spotters, media, ham radio operators, and the public to measure snowfall totals.

In Middlesex County, Lowell recorded the most snow with 24 inches recorded at 8:10 a.m. by law enfrocement.

Hudson recorded 21 inches of snow around 7:30 a.m.

A trained spotter in Hopkinton reported 16.5 inches of snow around 5;30 a.m.

The City of Framingham was recording 16 inches of snow at 5 a.m.
