FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin has retired from the City of Framingham, after more than 3 decades of service.

Lt. Cronin started his career in 1983, as a Special Police Officer & Dispatcher in the Town of Sherborn. He was a Northeastern University Police Officerin 1986, and in 1988 he joined the Framingham Police Department.

He served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Administrative Services Bureau Commander, and Day Shift Commander, over his 32 years.
