MARLBOROUGH – Christopher “Carlito” J. Colón, 22, of Marlborough and formerly of Kissimmee, Florida; passed away at home on Sunday January 17, 2021.

He was born in Newton, MA; the son of José B. Colón, Jr. of Waltham and Tanyi M. (Loor) Colón of Ecuador.

He was a graduate of Marlborough High School Class of 2017. Christopher was recently accepted to the HVAC Certification Program at Quinsigamond Community College where he would have begun classes this Spring semester.

He was passionate about music and horticulture. He was creative, loving, reliable, witty, and respectful. Full of life, he carried a sense of humor that would fill a room with laughter, a true loyal friend to many with a big heart. Christopher’s smile and love will forever be cherished and remembered.     

In addition to his parents he leaves an older brother Benjamín J. Colón of Kissimmee, Florida; his maternal grandmother Lucia Orta of Marlborough; paternal grandfather José B. Colón, Sr. of Peabody and paternal grandmother Zoraida Zayas of Kissimmee, Florida; two half-brothers, Jahdiel J. Colón and Jerriel B. Colón both of Eustis, Florida; a nephew Benjamín Jaríel Colón of Kissimmee, Florida; many aunts, uncles and cousins including Petain, Joel, Victoria and Martha Loor all of Marlborough.  

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held Saturday January 23 from 6-8 PM in the Collins Funeral Home 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
