WAYLAND – To all of you that have asked about the upcoming services for Officer Chris Cohen, the family has requested a private wake; however, they also understand that members of the community would like to show their respect for our fallen brother.

The family and Bryant Funeral Home have arranged to have a caravan/parade for those members of the Wayland community that wish to participate.

This “drive by” will occur on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:30 in the afternoon, any and all members of the Wayland Community who wish to participate should meet at the old DPW Yard on Main Street at the Middle School overflow parking lot.

At 1:40 PM, the procession will leave from the overflow parking lot and travel to Bryant Funeral Home where Chris’s family will be standing on the porch.

The parade will be led by a Wayland Police Cruiser and will end with a cruiser.
