FRAMINGHAM – Marie Helen “Re” (Cloran) Eadie, 93, a longtime resident of Framingham and formerly of Needham, died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Carlyle House in Framingham.

Born in Boston, she was the loving daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Moran) Cloran.

She was raised in Needham and was a graduate of Needham High School and Lasell College.

“Re” formerly worked as an administrative assistant at Liberty Mutual in Boston and for several years at Sears in the home improvement department.

Her biggest joy was her family.  Her life centered around her husband and raising her two children as well as cherishing the time spent with her grandchildren.  

She will forever be missed by her son, Jeffrey R. and his wife Lucinda Eadie of Ashland; her daughter and caregiver, Kerry-Lyn Eadie of Framingham; her grandson, Brian J. Eadie and his partner Kristen Murphy of Ashland; her granddaughter, Kate-Lyn Eadie and her fiancé Kevin Renick of Ashland.

“Re” is also survived by her sister, Ruth Droney of Canton, her cousin, Harold Cloran of Mashpee and many loving nieces, nephews, including Susan and her husband, Timothy Dubois of Hull, Kevin and his wife, Eileen Droney of Easton as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.  

She was the sister-in-law of the late Frank J. Droney.

A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bridget Church and a private burial will take place in the family lot at St. Mary Cemetery in Needham.
