Powerball Lottery at $700 Million-Plus For Wednesday

BOSTON – With no winner in Saturday’s drawing, the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball is at more than $700 million.

This is only the fourth time the jackpot has surpassed $700 million

The last jackpot won in Powerball was on September 16, 2020

In Saturday’s drawing, 14 tickets matched all five white balls, earning $1 million each

One ticket sold in New Hampshire earned $2 millionby including the Power Play option, which doubled the prize.

To play the lottery, individuals select five numbers between 1-69 and one Powerball number between 1-26. You can select the numbers manually or choose Quic Pic for the Lottery computer to randomly select your numbers.

Each Powerball play costs $2.

On Tuesday, the lottery’s Mega Millions drawing will be an estimated $850 million jackpot.
