FRAMINGHAM – The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Project Beacon free COVID-19 testing site in Framingham will conduct COVID-19 testing on Monday, January 18, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Hours of operating are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 484 Franklin Street by appointment only.

  • You don’t need to have any symptom(s)
  • Testing is free and no health insurance is required
  • Project Beacon uses virus testing, also called “PCR” testing. This test tells you if you currently have COVID-19. PCR tests are conducted by nasal swab, oral swab, or saliva sample. Framingham is using a nasal swab to conduct testing.  
  • Test results can be used for travel purposes
