WASHINGTON DC – On Thursday, January 14, Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark will be hosting a telephone town hall alongside public health experts to brief the community on the development and distribution of Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines authorized by the federal government. 

Experts will be available to help answer questions, provide important public health information about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, and share updates on action currently being taken at the federal, state, and local level to get the vaccines into the hands of our communities and to keep us safe.

Guests will include:

  • Juliette Kayyem, Former Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs under President Barack Obama
  • Dr. Assaad Sayah, CEO of Cambridge Health Alliance

The 6 p.m. telephone town hall is free and open to the public.
