NATICK – Natick Republican Town Committee issued the following statement in response to the recent events occurring at the United States Capitol:

“The Natick Republican Town Committee condemns in the strongest way the violent entry into the Capitol and vandalism as well as assaults on law enforcement.  Sadly, we witnessed a breach of lawful order on Capitol Hill that is completely indefensible and unlawful under any circumstances.  We believe all parties acting unlawfully should be identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

“All Americans must stand together for our Constitution, for our representative form of government, and for our laws and law enforcement officers.  We must join together to reaffirm our deep and abiding respect for our nation’s laws, as our Pledge of Allegiance to the flag so gloriously proclaims our fidelity “‘to the Republic, for which it stands,  under God, with liberty and justice for all.”
