FRAMINGHAM – Douglas W. Brindley, 73, a longtime Framingham resident died Thursday, January 7, 2021 following a lengthy period of declining health.

Born in Newton the son of the late Douglas P. & Ellen M. (Harrington) Brindley, Douglas was raised in Cochituate and a graduate of Wayland High School.

Like many before him, Douglas served his country proudly in the U.S. Army immediately after high school.

Upon his return home, he married the love of his life, Linda and began a 30 year career driving trucks for EH Perkins Construction and managing Paulini Loam Company.

Quiet and kind, Douglas doted on wife and son and enjoyed the simpler things in life. A day of fishing, admiring old cars, and more than anything supporting his son with anything and everything as it pertained to the theatre.

Besides his beloved wife Linda D. (Ktona) Brindley, he is survived by his son, Christopher of Framingham, his brother Scott Brindley of Marlborough, his sister, Barbara Lucchesi of Marlborough, and his nephews Lucas Lucchesi of Marlborough and Robert Ames of Millbury. He was predeceased by his brother in law Ronald Lucchesi, and nephew Scott Lucchesi.

Considering the current health regulations, family and friends will honor and remember Douglas’ life with private graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his name to: Framingham High School Drama Company c/o City of Framingham, 31 Flagg Drive, Framingham, MA 01702 and Weston Drama Workshop, www.westondramaworkshop.org.

Arrangements by the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home of Framingham.
