FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Public Schools announced yesterday, January 4, 2021, that McCarthy Elementary School has its first COVID-19 positive case.

This is the first case in the district in 2021.

Framingham Public Schools went fully remote on Monday, December 7.

Just because students are not in the school, does not mean there are not teachers and staff inside the school.

This is the 37th cases in the public school district.

Framingham High has had the most coronavirus cases in the district with 9. Fuller Middle is second with 6 cases.

The only school without a case is Cameron Middle School.

There were 20 COVID cases in December in the schools.
