FRAMINGHAM – Catherine “Kay” R. (Feroleto) Kelley, 90, a longtime resident of Framingham died suddenly on Monday December 28, 2020.

Born and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni & Palma (Fittante) Feroleto.

The youngest of 12, Kay was a 1947 Cambridge High and Latin graduate. In 1946 she met her future husband John F. Kelley, the love of her life. They married in 1958, and settled in Cambridge where they raised their five girls, moving to Framingham in 1975.

Kay taught religious education in both Cambridge and at St. Bridget’s in Framingham.

She was a Girl Scout Leader and even found time to take Realtor courses. Getting through the days with laughter, finding a good bargain, and knitting and crocheting the kids sweaters and blankets brought her joy. Everyone knew where they stood with Kay.

She is survived by her beloved husband John, her children, Catherine Stewart & her husband Paul of Mendon, Mary McLaughlin & her husband Mac of Clinton, Lisa Roark & her husband Thomas of Michigan, Maureen Kelley of Holliston, and Stephanie Riva & her husband Christopher of Framingham; her grandchildren, Sara and Julie Stewart, Kelley Mullen & her husband Michael, Danielle Kenyon & her husband Tyler, Meaghan Fors & her husband Adam, Shawn Patterson, Connor Kelley, Molly, Anthony, and Caroline Roark, David, Matthew, and Ryan Hunt, and Jessica Auletta & her husband Brandon, her great grandchildren, Anthony, Anna, Hanna, Payton and Paxton, and many nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her granddaughter Tina Stewart, and her siblings, Domenic, Mary, Paul, Salvatore, Angelina, Rosie, Santina, Lucille, Lena, Theresa, and Gina Feroleto.

Considering the current health restrictions, Kay’s family will honor and remember her privately. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
