1 Today is the last day of 2020.

2. There have been more than 5,000 people who were diagnosed with COVID-19 in Framingham this year during the pandemic and 181 have died.

3. The free Framingham residents only, walk-up testing site at SMOC HQ has closed permanently and will not re-open in 2021, announced the city.

The state’s new free COVID testing site at Framingham State University’s parking lot, which is by appointment only, has limited hours this week, due to the holiday.

4. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events.

There are NO City of Framingham meetings today.

5. City Hall is open today but will close at 4 p.m. Only the City Clerk’s office and the Tax collector’s office is accepting walk-ins, everything else is by appointment.

BONIS: Trash will not be collected on Friday, January 1, but will be collected on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
