FRAMINGHAM – Danielle Fitzpatrick was sworn in as the City of Framingham’s newest firefighter earlier this month, announced the department today, December 30.

“Danielle brings over 10 years of firefighting experience to the City,” said the Framingham Fire Department with a post on social media.

Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher said Fitzpatrick is a transfer from the Wellesley Fire Department.

She is now the third female firefighters in the department.

Framingham has 149 uniformed members, including the Chief & Assistant Chief.

Fitzpatrick is assigned to the “Pride of the Southside,” Engine 3.
