5. The Archdiocese of Boston has been invited to join with other dioceses in ringing Church bells to remember and honor the more than 330,000 lives lost to COVID-19 this year in the United States. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts more than 12,000 people have died due to COVID-19.

Invited to participate by the Archdiocese of New York, parishes are encouraged to ring their Church bells today, December 30, 2020 at 12 noon
