FRAMINGHAM – Police arrested a Framingham man at the Monticello Motel on Christmas morning.

Framingham Police Officers arrested Edwin Oliveras, 18, 40 Pearl Harbor Road was arrested at 7;10 a.m. at the Monticello Motel at 90 Worcester Road.

Oliveras was located in room 121. He was charged with possession of a firearm with out a Firearm identification card (FID), possession of a large capacity ammunition with out a FID card, possession of stolen property valued at under $1,200.

This is an ongoing police investigation.

The firearm is a Sauer 9mm, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

“It was reported stolen from a car break in Ashland about 2 weeks ago,” said the Police Lt.
