LETTER: Framingham Sustainability Committee Needs To Address Climate Crisis

FRAMINGHAM – Given the critical nature of the climate crisis, I was pleased to learn that the City of Framingham established the Framingham Sustainability Committee, and is now seeking applications from residents wishing to serve on the Committee.

As a young person who has participated in climate action, and in light of the role of youth in the climate crisis I was even more pleased to learn that the Committee was intentionally seeking out young people to serve on this Committee. 

I would like to commend the Mayor and the City Council for taking this important action in addressing the climate crisis on the local level. 

I hope to see the Framingham Sustainability Committee take actions that will help the City of Framingham developed resilience and address the climate crisis.
