ASHLAND – Malin E. Svensson,  56, a resident of Ashland and originally of Sherborn, died on unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Born in Lund, Sweden, she was the beloved daughter of the late Goran K. and Ingela B. (Larsson) Svensson and the sister of the late Robert Svensson.

She was a graduate of Dover Sherborn High School, class of 1982. 

Malin was a good natured, fun loving person and would always “light up the room” with her laughter.

She was a shift supervisor at Rite-Aid in Ashland and worked for many years as a waitress and bartender for area restaurants locally and on Cape Cod.

Malin will forever be missed by her sisters, Katarina and her husband Gordon Wrin and Maria Svensson.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Michael Wrin, Nicole Wrin, Allison Wrin, David Wrin, many friends, and long-time boyfriend Joseph McGarry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Pinehill Cemetery in Sherborn.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham.
