FRAMINGHAM – The 14th year of Timothy’s Toy Box was a little different than the 13 previous years.

“We did not have any volunteers this year because we didn’t want anyone to get sick trying to help us,” said Sharon Gilbert, founder of Timothy’s Toy Box.

But that doesn’t mean Sharon & Tim didn’t have help.

“Thank you for the donations to our website, signing up for wish list toys, dropping off and shipping donations to us, and for helping spread the word to others! Because of you and many others, we were able to make all of the kids’ Christmas wishes come true,” said Gilbert.

Gilbert said Timothy’s Toy Box “purchased, collected, and delivered over 2,500 toys and they will be opened by over 400 Framingham kids on Christmas morning”

“We also gave the parents blankets, batteries for the toys, and gift wrap supplies so they would have everything they would need,” added Gilbert, who has been doing this toy drive for 14 years with her son Tim, now in high school.

“We truly appreciate your support and generosity and we would not have been able to do this without your help! You really helped to make our 14th season a success especially during this crazy Covid Christmas,” said Gilbert.
