FRAMINGHAM – The McElwain’s family cat is missing.

Boston, the beloved family pet, “has lived indoors only but got out about an hour before the big snow storm,” said Nancy McElwain.

“We’ve searched, with the help of friends and neighbors, night and day. We’ve distributed flyers, used Facebook (Fiddler’s Green Community Group), and notified animal control. He’s microchipped but not wearing a collar,” said Nancy.

“I feel like this “break” in the weather today, warmer with some snow melt – but just ahead of the next storm – is a big chance for him to be spotted,” she said.

Boston is a neutered male, black with white on his chin, chest, belly and feet. He has white whiskers and green eyes.

He is polydactyl (he has an extra toe on each foot – so his feet are big).

He is very affectionate but may be frightened and shy, she said.

he was last seen in the vicinity of Flanagan Drive/Belknap Road.

Boston’s pictured here, last Christmas, in his new bed. Next to him, in the gingerbread house, is his best pal Cali who is devastated too and not eating.
