NATICK – Margaret Mary (Jolley) O’Callaghan, 85, in Natick formerly of Dorchester passed away on December 22, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Michael F. O’Callaghan. Devoted mother of Michael O’Callaghan and his wife Laura of Northbridge, Patricia O’Callaghan of Natick, Timothy O’Callaghan and his wife Diep of Sutton. Loving grandmother of MaryBridget and her husband Zach, Maeve, Kaitlyn, Shayleigh and Declan. Sister of the late Thomas and John Jolley. Daughter of the late Michael and Beatrice (Corbett) Jolley. She is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
Known affectionately as ‘Peggy’ to family and friends, she was proud to be OFD (Originally From Dorchester) and enjoyed nothing more than a fun gathering with friends and family.
When you entered her house, her caring nature was always in full force and her stories were always at the ready to be shared. You couldn’t come into Peggy’s house without getting something to eat or drink. She loved to travel and see the world, and was an avid line dancer.
Peggy worked as a controller for John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston for 9 years, and part time for the Town of Natick in Food Services for many years after starting a family in Natick.
Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street in Natick on Tuesday December 29 at 9 a.m.
Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Linus Church 119 Hartford Street Natick at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Interment St. Patrick Cemetery in Natick.
Visiting Hours on Monday December 28 from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
