FRAMINGHAM – “There is no situation like the open road, and seeing things completely afresh.” Never one to be confined to a desk, John M. Brady chose the open road in a career as a truck driver and a proud member of the Teamsters Local #251.

Sadly, John M. Brady, 75, born in Cambridge the son of the late Francis & Rose (Giorgio) Brady, and a longtime resident of Framingham died suddenly on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

Humor, quick wit, and good joke defined John’s sense of humor and his ability to make people feel comfortable no matter how long they’d known him. He was a kind and genuine person who took comfort in Sunday morning rides with the love of his life by his side, or in maintaining his garden that could feed the neighborhood, and all of St. Patrick’s Manor.

John was a proud family man who is survived by his devoted wife Shirley J. (Alibozek), his children, John M. Brady, Jr. & his wife Andrea of Hubbardston, and Sharon R. Skinner & her husband Richard of Athol, his dear grandchildren, Connor and Ava Brady, and Brady and Deven Skinner, his siblings, Francis of Waltham, and Rosemary Thurlow of Lexington, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Considering the current health restrictions and in keeping with John’s wishes, his family will honor and remember his life with a private funeral mass and interment.  His family will hold a celebration of his life publicly at a later date.

Arrangements by McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler funeral home in Framingham.
