FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer has endorsed Bryan Barash for Newton City Council.

“Thank you so much to Framingham Mayor (and former Newton schools employee) @spicerformayor for your support in my race for #NewtonMA City Council! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and working together on progressive causes these past few years,” Tweeted the candidate yesterday with this video below.

“I first met Bryan when I was running for Mayor in 2017,” said Mayor Spicer. “I was delighted and impressed with his progressive values, which I also shared.”

“Most importantly, I saw him as a leader,” said Spicer.

Framingham will elect 9 district City Councilors for 2-year terms and Mayor for a 4-year term in November 2021.

In 2019, Framingham elected 2 at-large City Councilors for 4 years and 9 district City Councilors for 2 years.
