MARLBROUGH – One Energy, Inc., who owns local Zoom Mart stores, is pledging its support to the local MetroWest chapter of the Boys and Girls club by embarking on a fund-raising campaign that will raise $6,500 for the club.
The campaign has two parts. The first comes directly from sales at participating locations including:
- Mobil Station/ Zoom Mart at 22 Waverly St in Framingham
- Sunoco / Zoom Mart at 146 Maple St. in Marlborough
- BP / Convenience Store at 1660 Worcester Road in Framingham
All 3 are operated by One Energy, Inc. In all three locations, one percent of all revenue (excluding tobacco, alcohol, lottery & fuel) will be contributed to the campaign.

Part two of the fundraising campaign, gives every customer an opportunity to make a contribution of their own. One Energy will match every donation up to $100 per customer. Donations of any size, $1, $5, $10 or more will be welcomed.
Both facets of this campaign will continue, until the goal of $6,500 is met.
This cause is of great importance to Mark Diarbakerly, owner of One Energy, because as he shares, “I was raised by a single Mom with 6 kids living well below the poverty line. Giving back to the children of our community is a core value and a privilege that my Mom and family taught me at a very early age.”

Laura Terzigni, Director of Resource Development, Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest expressed her gratitude, “Mark and One Energy have been continuous supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. We greatly appreciate this partnership and the opportunity for community members to show their support through this campaign. All funds raised through this campaign will directly support critical programming for our community’s youth in the new year.”
This fundraising effort represents an awesome opportunity to give back and make patronage of those stores count for more. Please take the opportunity to stop by and support the cause.

Family owned and operated, OneEnergy is run by Mark Diarbakerly. Founded in 1977, he grew the business from a single Exxon Station to the successful network of convenience stores, gas stations and wholesale petroleum distribution it is today. It continues to grow and support its customer base who we consider to be family too.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest is one of the largest Boys & Girls Club organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and serves the communities surrounding Marlborough, Hudson and Framingham. Each year the Clubs provide youth development, education, prevention, social, athletic, and recreation programs to over 3,200 at-risk children and teens.
