FRAMINGHAM  – Josephine (Barduzzi)  Ablondi, 96, a former longtime resident of Framingham and Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully Thursday Dec. 17, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of the late John J.  Ablondi, Sr., who died in 2001.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Gallinucci) Barduzzi.

Raised and educated in Boston, Mrs. Ablondi was primarily a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She will be remembered by her family for her love of family, being a great cook and her sheer pleasure in beating any of them in scrabble or dominos. 

She is survived by her children: John J. Ablondi, Jr. & his wife Kathleen (Barnes) Ablondi, Michael Ablondi & his wife Diane Saraceni; her grandchildren: Lauren Ablondi Jones & husband Gwil, Karen Ablondi Nelson & husband Steve, Kristen Ablondi Papson &  husband Eric, John E. Ablondi & wife Michelle, Nicole Ablondi Ho & husband Wilmer and Amy Ablondi & husband Tommy Barquinero;  great grandchildren: Ben Nelson, Grace Nelson, Elizabeth Jones, Meghan Jones, Ethan Jones, Luke Papson, Ryder Papson and Ryan Ablondi; and a daughter-in-law: Barbara Canal Ablondi.  She was predeceased by a son: Steven Ablondi and her siblings: Margaret Tyson, Frank Valzenia and Rose Cohen.   

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, all of Mrs. Ablondi’s services will be held privately.
