ASHLAND – Divers were able to recover the body of a missing man this afternoon, after a multi-day search, according to Ashland Police Chief Vince Alfano.

“There was no foul play,” said the Chief.

More than 100 first responders, 8 search dogs, and the regional dive team began searching for the man on Wednesday at Ashland State Park.

The search was called off late Wednesday due to the snowstorm.

Mass State Police brought sophisticated equipment that helped locate the body.

Law enforcement and divers were back at the state park on Friday, and were able to recover the missing man from the lake.

The name is not being released at this time. The man is not from Ashland and had been missing for about 5 days.
