BOSTON – The National Weather Service out of Boston/Norton issued a winter storm watch from Wednesday evening into Thursday afternoon, December 17.

Heavy snow possible, according to the federal agency. The watch was issued at 3:19 a.m. today, December 15.

Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

Snow developing by Wednesday evening and becoming heavy at times Wednesday night into early Thursday. Snow tapering off by Thursday afternoon.
