FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Coronavirus Community Outreach group is so very excited to announce the launch of “Operation Goodwill and Cheer!” Operation Goodwill and Cheer’s first objective is “Feeding Framingham’s Frontline” this holiday season.

Framingham’s EMTs, firefighters, police officers, and healthcare workers in our hospital and long-term care and assisted living facilities all have shown exemplary work and dedication throughout the pandemic. Framingham’s frontline has provided social, emotional, and physical support to residents in need, despite the personal risk. They’ve cared for us and our loved ones. They even took part in birthday parades over the summer.

We’re showing our appreciation by delivering meals from local restaurants throughout the holiday week.

We’ve contacted each frontline facility, and are in the process of placing orders with local restaurants. The frontline is excited, and the local businesses have been great community partners.

A lot has been asked of Framingham’s frontline. There are many others who have contributed to the pandemic effort and with enough donations, we’ll be able to thank them, too.

If you’d like to be a part of Operation Goodwill and Cheer and help sponsor these meals, click on the link below to donate.
